Careers/Lifestyle/Business Opportunities

Life at/with Community Convenience Centre/Real Gold is dynamic in various sectors.

We welcome expressions of interest from individuals aligned with our values and service standards.

From our experience dealing with people from various sectors, they would do well in anything with New Zealand Certificate in Real Estate (Salesperson) (Level 4) from Open Polytechnic (if you are able to meet the criteria to work in real estate, you are one of the top, competently high-performing (including education semesters/years) reliable people to be able to work with us, not only with theoretical knowledge. We value people who take pride in their work and consistently aim for high standards.

You would also really stand out from the competition if you can authenticate yourself (to reduce the chance of receiving spam-like job applications by desperate job seekers desperately looking for ANY job even for jobs they are not competent for). By completing a video of less than 20 minutes answering the following questions:

  1. Tell us about yourself, your background, anything interesting you are happy to share.
  2. What do you know about Community Convenience Centre, or about any of our services that "sells" or highlights yourself in a positive way?
  3. What are you looking for in a new role?
  4. What do you do for leisure/hobbies/spare time?
  5. What are Your Greatest Strengths?
  6. What is your biggest accomplishment?
  7. Tell us about an area that you would like to grow as a professional

You also meet three or more, or multiple from this comprehensive list, which helps in making successful professionals/business owners:

  • A passion for customer service excellence - plus "we are successful if our customers are successful" mentality.
  • Willingness to learn, improve or upskill personally and/or professionally at your own pace without external validation.
  • Safely, confidently and competently adopt/use AI in daily work practically. Hands-on experience with various AI tools to solve real-world challenging problems with the aid of the mind of being a human. Understanding of responsible AI, being ethical, data privacy, and security-first considerations.
  • You have worked in any job or role for more than 5 consecutive years.
  • Bachelor Degree - advantageous but not compulsory - optional
  • Relevant Level 5 and 6 Qualification(s) - with practical hands-on components/assessments included.
  • Relevant Certifications - level 3, 4 are an advantage.
  • Be capable of learning quickly, thinking on your feet, and working autonomously, particularly under pressure.
  • Have a proven track record in managing technically complex project tasks, both remotely and on-site.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Should possess a positive attitude, be dependable, motivated, and adaptable.

We enjoy getting to know people beyond paper or digitally created CVs and Cover Letters. Upload your video to anywhere we can view it (e.g. YouTube). Alternatively, you may submit a CV and/or cover letter in PDF format.
